This instrument is made with a two piece back of highly flamed maple on a horizontal plane.
The ribs of maple of pronounced broad flame along an angled pattern. The scroll is of matching maple.
The table is of fine grained spruce. The varnish is of a golden brown colour.
It has double purfling on both top and back while the back shows a descending design in the upper bounds. See photo
