These tools are dedicated to cutting new or replacement nipples
in all bows of the violin family . They come in sizes of 5.0 mm,
5.5 mm, 6.0 mm and 8.0 mm. The 8.0 mm size is used on bass
bows.
The Nipple cutter kit
This kit is a complete tool box of nipple and recess cutters covering
all the common sizes from 5.0 mm to 8.0 mm.
These tools are best used with the BowBadger bench-top tool but
can be used manually.
